Federal Ministry of the Environment: climate protection- and energy revolution programms are further financially supported.
As yesterday announced in the pressrelease of the Federal Ministry of the Environment (BMU) the financial support programm for the market launch of photovoltaic battery storage is secured. The new battery storage support programm can start – as intended – on May 1st. The transformation of our energy system towards the efficient use of finally 100% renewable energy, the ‘Energiewende’ will only succeed with efficient and economical energy storage systems.

Members of the association include companies from all industry sectors related to energy storage, such as technology manufacturers, project developers, system integrators, consulting firms, research institutions and other market leaders in the cleantech sector. We are technology and business model agnostic regarding our membership structure, and we solely rely on the intellectual and financial input and support of our members.

Energy storage technology is a keycomponent of the “Energiewende”
Representatives of 50 companies attended to the first general meeting of the German Energy Storage Association (BVES) in Düsseldorf.
Düsseldorf/Berlin. Expanding the membership base, organising and supporting newly established working groups at the site in Berlin by increasing the team there, and developing cooperation projects and partnerships with other associations and interest groups. These were key resolutions taken by the first general meeting of the German Energy Storage Association (BVES), held during the Energy Storage conference and trade fair in Düsseldorf.56 representatives of over 40 member businesses and 9 individual members attended the meeting. These included representatives of technology firms, project developers, system integrators, consultancy firms and other leading companies in the clean technology sector.

German Energy Storage Association records leap in membership – newcomers include energy supplier Vattenfall
Berlin. – The German Energy Storage Association (BVES) founded in Berlin in late September 2012 is picking up speed. Over recent weeks, more than 30 institutions and companies have joined the umbrella association for the further development of energy storage. New members include companies and research institutes such as Fraunhofer IWS Dresden, NEC Europe, Gildemeister Energy Solutions, Hochtief Solutions AG, SMA Solar Technology AG, Clariant, GP Joule, Power One and Vattenfall.
